David and Drew Jackson hike to Lower Red Pine Lake

While visiting in Utah, David asked Drew Jackson about some possible hiking trails. One that Drew recommended was the hike to Lower Red Pine Lake. The trailhead is in Little Cottonwood Canyon, a few miles below the Snowbird ski resort. The hike is of moderate difficulty, approximately 6 miles round trip (although both Drew and I agreed that it must be somewhat longer), with approximately 2000 foot elevation gain (from 7600 ft to 9600 ft).
