Baileys and Johnsons mourn Louise’s passing

On 17 May 2012, Linda’s mother Louise Johnson passed away in Provo, Utah, at the age of 95.

On 6 June, her descendants and others gathered in Murphys, California for her burial, next to her deceased husband Clifford Johnson, and a modest memorial service. Murphys is just a few miles from Douglas Flat, where Louise and Clifford lived for many years following Clifford’s retirement from his work in home construction in the Menlo Park, California area. In fact, after the memorial service, many of us were able to tour the Douglas Flat homestead, which is now a bed and breakfast facility.

Here are a few photos that I took. Others took photos as well, which we all hope to share as they become available.
