This looks great!! Congratulations to whomever set it up.
I am just home from our annual Book Club European trip. We went to Venice, then Vienna and then to various places in Germany and Switzerland. We went to the Oberamergau Passion Play that they only put on every ten years. It was very interesting. I will post pictures when I get them downloaded.
Katie has moved to Bremmerton, just across the sound from Seattle. We need pictures — Katie.
Lara and Kacee are running in the big several day race across the top of the Wasatch ridge as part of two different relay teams on the weekend of June 16.
Chase and Kacee just bought a new house up between us and Lara’s inlaws just off Bountiful Boulevard, just further south than where we used to live. We need pictures there too.
I’ve put in my curio case Connie’s Lladro of the sewing lady and I love it. I want reports on what you all did with your inherited things andf if you like them.
Hi Cheryl, I made your comment into a post so we have our first real post! I’ll try to send out accounts and passwords this week and then we’ll close the blog so that incriminating photos of (I think we all know who) won’t turn up on Google. 🙂 Also, with the accounts the posts and comments will be under a name rather than “admin.”

I loved the beautiful vases painted with flowers that Grandma had listed for me from the moment I saw them. But I was a little baffled why they were coming to me. So many of the other items have a story or a connection or a specific memory (like Chrissy’s ironing one). Then when I got home and was taking them out of the box, I noticed on the box is said the name of the design is “Pembroke.” That is the name of the college of Cambridge University where I did my study abroad. It really brought tears to my eyes, because only Grandma would remember a tiny detail like that. Now the vases aren’t just beautiful, but a special reminder to me of how much Grandma loved me that she would take enough interest to note and remember a detail like that.
